COMIC BOOK TRAILER: GUTOM

The comic book trailer of GUTOM was my first video project. I was just nervous as fuck coz I was only just a young twenty-something year-old buck starting to make comics. What do I know about video editing? While working on the comic, this Radiohead’s No Surprises sprung up and made me decide that it would be a perfect match to what I was going for. GUTOM was a darker story than my previous work. GUTOM is a psychology-related, and a sibling-related story.

Re-watching the trailer again and having not seen it for many years, I know that the video was too long and laggy. But the track still holds up. I was just a guy drawing comics with technical pens on typewriting paper thinking on how to promote my work. And I was happy when I made it. Was it successful, did it pass the objective? Yes.
